Our History and Purpose
Olympus Lodge No. 62 was consecrated on 30 April 1976, marking the beginning of a proud and enduring contribution to Freemasonry in Ghana. From its inception, the Lodge was founded on the timeless principles of integrity, brotherhood, service, and moral excellence.
The Lodge was established by a committed group of Founder Brethren whose foresight and dedication laid a strong foundation for growth, unity, and continuity. Their values continue to shape the character and direction of Olympus Lodge No. 62 today.
Over the decades, the Lodge has maintained a tradition of strong leadership and institutional stability, guided by an unbroken line of Worshipful Masters. Many of its members have gone on to serve with distinction at Provincial and Grand Lodge levels, reflecting the Lodge’s commitment to leadership development and Masonic education.
Olympus Lodge No. 62 places high importance on discipline, charity, fellowship, and personal development. Through regular meetings, ceremonial excellence, and charitable initiatives, the Lodge fosters a culture of responsibility, mutual respect, and service to both the Craft and the wider community.
Today, Olympus Lodge No. 62 stands as a respected and vibrant Lodge—rooted in tradition, responsive to the present, and focused on the future. Guided by the vision of its founders and strengthened by generations of dedicated brethren, the Lodge remains committed to upholding the ideals of Freemasonry and making a positive impact on society.
